Some goodbyes are the very best kind.Last week, one of our longest-staying residents - sweet, gentle Luna, packed her bags (well, we packed them for her) and boarded a flight to her forever home in Finland. Luna came to us as a stray from the streets of Amman, skinny and shy, not quite sure the world was safe yet. A few months at The Cozy Paw later, she was stealing laps and charming every guest who walked through the door.
Her new family visited the café while on holiday in Jordan, and that was that. Luna chose them, the way cats always do, and the feeling was very clearly mutual. With her vaccinations, passport, and a carry-on full of her favourite treats sorted, she made the journey north without a hitch.
She is currently, according to her new family, already running the household.
